About me
Sheree Bogany, known as Principal Auntie, is a TEDx speaker, award winning trailblazer, and purpose driven leader committed to service, courage, and impact. A proud product of public education, she has served as a teacher and administrator, becoming the first African American principal in two historically underserved communities. Her leadership focuses on outcomes, relationships, and meaningful culture change.
Sheree has been recognized as the HEB Excellence in Education Secondary Principal of the Year, TASSP Region 2 Principal of the Year, SHSU's Dedre P. Jefferson Humanitarian of the Year, and a Leadership Houston distinguished alumna.
She currently serves as Executive of Partnerships at Abilene Christian University, leading nationwide partnerships that strengthen educator pipelines. Sheree is also a mentor with the UH Clear Lake, a longtime leader within HAABSE, TABSE and NABSE, and co author of Shattering Stereotypes. Her message encourage leaders to WIN right where they are.
