About me
With 34 years of classroom experience, Laura Heguy is a dedicated educator who currently teaches 3rd grade in the Alamosa School District—a grade level she is especially passionate about. Her career began at Center Public Schools, and she has also taught GED English classes for adult learners. Laura’s commitment to multilingual and inclusive education has led her to present at the State Parent Advisory Council Meeting, the Colorado Association of Latino/a Administrators and Superintendents (CO-ALAS), and the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE).
